Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, May 18, 2015 <br />Page 7 <br />Chief Edehnan stated, when I have more information, I will update you. <br />PARKS & RECREATION - Bill Thomas <br />Mr. Thoinas stated, we are about 4 weeks away froin Parkview Pool opening up for the season. <br />Lenny from our Service Deparhnent and a college student have done a great job of getting the <br />pool ready. We have all the caulk work done on it and now our next step is to get it painted. <br />There's a lot of other jobs they are doing down there. It's looking very good. We had also <br />planned to have a contractor work on our softball fields. Because of all of the early rain that we <br />had, the Service Department decided to push the work back until the end of the season. They <br />will work on the fields sometiine in inid-September. The soccer fields are getting worked on <br />now. Hopefully they will be ready in the next couple weeks. <br />ARCHITECT - Ron Dinardo <br />There was no report. <br />PLANNING DEPARTMENT - Ted Esborn <br />There was no report. <br />AI)MINISTRATION - Diane Wolizamuth <br />Ms. Wolgamuth reported, as requested by Council, letters went out to the residents on Glenview, <br />Bonnieview and Beech Hill oii May 8t1i. Today, Toin Cappello and I started knocking on doors <br />and canvassing for some responses. I also got some responses by e-mail and phone. We will <br />continue to do that over the next several days to a week and then report to Council on the results <br />of that survey. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked, as far as widening the road we are in a holding pattern? <br />Ms. Wolgamuth replied, we are in a holding pattern on preparing the plans and going out to bid <br />until we see how the residents feel about the widening. <br />Mr. Jerome stated, I stopped at a few houses before the Council meeting and got some feedback <br />and will do more in the next couple days. <br />Ms. Wolgamuth stated, please encourage them to either call or e-mail me so that I can get them <br />on my list. <br />Council President Buckholtz stated, I just drove all the streets this evening. <br />Mr. Saponaro stated, if you are going to specific houses and talking to people, you probably <br />should coordinate so that we can keep updated. <br />Mr. Jerome stated, I can get you who I have talked to so you don't have to double up.
