Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, July 20, 2015 <br />Rick Juarbe, Diane Tripodo, Rick Whitehead, Theresa Whitehead and Frank Zatko. I want to <br />personally thank them. They did a great job as far as keeping the safety of our runners. We also <br />had in addition Progressive Insurance security staff handling all their driveways along North <br />Commons Boulevard. The Key Club from the High School also helped out. It's a big <br />undertaking to snake sure that all is safe. I also thank our Recreation Board and all of our <br />sponsors, Willoughby Supply, Parker Orthodontics, Mayfield Physical Therapy, Heinen's, Yours <br />Truly, Pizzazz, Megan Ursick Dentistry and Micelli's Cheese and Health 360. Thank you to all <br />those people for snaking the run possible. <br />Council President Marrie added, and Danielle. <br />Mr. Thomas stated, and Danielle and my staff. Logan Snell also helped out on that day. Thank <br />you. <br />Reporting on Senior Services, Mr. Thomas stated, the next Lunch n' Movie is going to be <br />August 12th. The movie is The Long Hot Summer. Reservations are due to the Community <br />Partnership on Aging by August Stl'. Foot clinics will be held on July 24th, August 14th and <br />August 28th from 1:00-3:00. Call Donna to make an appointment. Our last trips were a tour of <br />Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh and a cruise aboard the Nautica Queen. They were both sold <br />out. Our next trip is in August to take a safari at The Wilds. We have over 50 people registered <br />right now. The AARP Safe Driving Class was held on Wednesday, June 24th. The next Safe <br />Driving class will be September 24th. Mayfield residents can still register for those classes. <br />Two new classes will begin in September, a Head to Toe Exercise class and a Music in Motion <br />class. <br />Council President Marrie asked, how many did we have for the Debbie Hudacko run? Was it up <br />or down from last year? <br />Mr. Thomas replied, we had about 100 for the walkers/runners. It's about the same as last year. <br />ARCHITECT -Ron DiNardo <br />There was no report. <br />PLANNING DEPARTMENT -Ted Esborn <br />There was no report. <br />ADMINISTRATION -Diane Wol~amuth <br />Ms. Wolgamuth reported, we have three projects that are out to bid currently, the 2015 Road <br />Program, the Community Room and the Softball Field Restroom. Results for those bids will be <br />brought to the Finance Committee in August. <br />
