Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, July 20, 2015 <br />__ __-_---Page ~---------------- --------------------------------------- --------------------- <br />STANDING COIe~d10~IITTEE REPORTS: <br />Activities Committee -Mrs. Mills reported, at our last meeting we discussed 50's Night and <br />Fourth of July. We also have our winter programs in line. One of our ine~nbers asked why we <br />gave our donation from 50's Night to Make a Wish. Is there another agency that people would <br />prefer? He is taking it on to send out a survey. It will be interesting to see what they are going <br />to come up with. I will let you know. <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Marrelli stated, there was no meeting. There is no report. <br />Board of Appeals -Mr. Marrelli stated, there was no meeting. There is no report. <br />Cemetery -Mrs. Mills stated, there is no report. <br />Citizen's Advisory Committee - Ms. Wolgamuth stated, there is no report. The next meeting is <br />July 30th at The Grove. <br />Drainage and Infrastructure Committee - Mr. Jerome reported, we decided not to meet this <br />past month. We are going to meet before the August Caucus meeting to discuss a couple of <br />issues. <br />Safety and Service -Council President Marrie reported, we met on July 6t1i. All of the items <br />were sent to Finance. They are on the agenda this evening. <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Saponaro reported, we met on July 6th for Caucus as well as this <br />evening. On our agenda were 8 items that we approved. We have deferred action on 2 <br />Ordinances based on the drafting of the Ordinances. We hope to have them approved at a Special <br />Meeting after the August Caucus. <br />Ristorical Society -Mrs. Mills reported, on July 24th we are going to the Northeast Ohio <br />International Museum Council. It is going to be at Brownwood Farms in Middlefield, Ohio. This <br />is a consortium of the historical societies in the Northeast Ohio area. <br />Ilillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Jerome stated, there was no meeting since the last update. <br />There is no report. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Marquardt reported, Ordinance Review met on July 14th <br />There were two items on the agenda. The first was a discussion on a change in the Building <br />Codes to allow the Building Commissioner to act when there was a not a quorum for <br />Architectural Review Board. The second item was a discussion on changes in Chapter 505 <br />regarding animals and fowl. We will continue these discussions at the next meeting and possibly <br />have something for the next Council meeting for consideration. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Marquardt reported, Planning and Zoning met on July 16th. The <br />discussion was on a Conditional Use Permit for Verizon Wireless, a monopole tower at the <br />Mayfield City School District Stadium. That one will likely be coining up for vote. <br />
