It's only a boost to our filings with the EPA come the end <br />of the year. <br />Dr. Parker said, but any ways possible where we can utilize their staff in lieu of using our staff to <br />do certain things, he would like to see that effort is made. <br />Mr. Metzung replied, we will use their staff. Some of it will entail our staff, but we will be more <br />aggressive in our use of their staff in that regard to improve our application when we turn it in to <br />the EPA. <br />Fipst Reading of Ordinance No. 2010-07, entitled, "An Emergency Ordinance <br />authorizing and directing the Mayor to enter into a Lease Agreement with the Cuyahoga <br />East Vocational Education Consortium ("CEVEC") for the purpose of leasing the real <br />estate located at 6532 White Road, Mayfield Village, Ohio." Introduced by Mayor <br />Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Saponaro, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Saponaro made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2010-07. <br />Council President Pro Tem Marrie asked if there was any discussion. <br />Mr. Marquardt asked if this facility meets all of the standards. You are having children in <br />this facility? <br />Mayor Rinker replied, we have a representative from CEVEC who can probably answer <br />some of those questions. We tried to give a good overview. <br />Bob Ross, Principal of CEVEC, part of the Mayfield City Schools replied, what CEVEC is <br />is a vocational training program for high school aged students with disabilities. They come <br />from 16 different districts in the area. Mayfield is the Fiscal and Administrative Agent for <br />the program. The facility would be very safe for the students that we have there. None of <br />the students that would be coming; are kids that have any type of physical disabilities. He <br />has actually had the opportunity to, go inside the property. It would be very safe. <br />Mr. Marquardt asked, are there standards or regulations that govern this that we have <br />checked out to make sure we are covered?
