We will be meeting tomorrow night to critique Cruise Night. <br />The Fourth of July Celebration will be held on July 3`d. The new popcorn machine works very <br />well. It looks like we won't have to buy any extra already-popped popcorn because this machine <br />pops rapidly. <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Marrelli reported that the Architectural Review Board met <br />on June 10 and approved a room edition at 600 SOM. <br />Beautification Committee - Mr. Saponaro reported that the next meeting is scheduled for <br />August 31 St <br />Board of Anpeals - There was no meeting. There is no report. <br />Cemeterv - Mrs. Mills thanked Mr. Metzung and the Service Department for spreading the <br />cinders on the driveway. They were needed. The Garden Club has been working in the <br />Cemetery. She has tentatively hired a young man to come in and help with the weeding and to <br />spread the mulch for the summer so the weeds don't get ahead of us. Last year it was very <br />tedious towazds the end of July to get the weeds under control. It's working very well. Mrs. <br />Mills will be having the annual meeting with Mayfield Heights and Highland Heights this week. <br />Citizen's Advisorv - Council President Buckholtz reported that Citizen's Advisory met. He <br />referred to the extensive report provided by Mr. Marrie during Caucus. <br />Commission on Agins - There was no report. <br />Safetv and Service - Mrs. Cinco provided her report at Caucus. <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Saponaro reported that the Committee met in Caucus on June 10 <br />and then this evening for the Committee meeting. There were 11 items recommended for <br />approval. One item which was deferred is the $100,000 payment to the Mayf'ield CiTy School <br />District. This will be discussed more on the floor of Council. We also recommended the <br />ordinance on the agenda. <br />Historical Societv - Mrs. Mills reported that yesterday they had an open house for the 3`d <br />graders that went through the Historical House this past year. It was interesting to see how these <br />little 3`d graders could take their parents to the House and demonstrate and talk about the <br />different things and what they come up with. It was very gratifying. We are working on our <br />Quilt Show in October. As far as the exterior, the Garden Club is busy planting and weeding. We <br />are doing some painting on the exterior of the building. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - There was no meeting. There is no report. <br />? <br />M.A.R.C. - Dr. Parker reported that M.A.R.C. held its regulaz meeting on June 3`d. The <br />Treasurer's report shows a balance of approximately $14,400.
