<br /> <br />? <br />? <br />? <br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Tuesday, January.l 8, 2011 <br />Page 7 <br />FINANCE - Ron Wvnne <br />Mr. Wynne reported that we are winding down the budget process for 2011. This week I am <br />meeting with Department Heads to finalize their budgets.. Next week they have a Department <br />Head meeting with the Mayor to go over the budget for the entire Village. This will be provided <br />to Council in February. . <br />Also, the Health Care Task Force was reconvened to begin the renewal process for our health <br />insurance which is up for renewal on April 1 St. The applications have gone out to bid with four <br />different insurance carriers to see what our rates might be for the coming year. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked, when is the first time you will be disclosing the budget or <br />when will it go before Council? Will it be a Special or Regular Meeting? Will we have an <br />opportunity to see it prior to a Caucus? <br />Mr. Wynne replied, if all goes as planned you sliould be able to see it, prior to the February <br />Caucus. <br />Council President Buckholtz replied, perfect. Thank you very much. <br />POLICE - Chief Dearden <br />There was nothing to report. <br />PARKS & RECREATION - Bill Thomas <br />Mr. Thomas reported that we took a full chartered bus to Holimont Ski Resort in New York <br />yesterday. Our next trip will be on President's Day, February 21 St, for ski enthusia?;ts. <br />ARCHITECT - Ron DiNardo <br />There wasnothing to report. <br />HUMAN SERVICES - Eunice Kalina <br />Mrs. Kalina reported we have been working on our newsletter which should be out to the <br />eommunity shortly. This Friday we have a program from Noon to 2:00 regaxding retirement and <br />finances. If anyone is interested, please let me know. A final count has to be in by tomorrow. <br />We have scheduled a Safe Driving cliss with AARP for March 25?'. If you are interested, you <br />can sign up with us. <br />? <br />PLANNING DEPARTMENT - Ted Esborn <br />Mr. Esborn updated Council on the Municipal Energy Program which is the County Planning <br />Commission's funding of comprehensive energy audits for all of the municipalities. The
