MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Thursday, March 24, 2011- 8:00 p.m. <br />Mayfield Village Civic Hall <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in Special Meeting on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at 8:00 <br />p.m. in the Mayfield Village Civic Hall. Council President Buckholtz called the meeting to <br />order. <br />ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Buckholtz, Mr. Marrie, Mrs. Mills and <br />Mr. Saponaro <br />Absent: Mrs. Cinco, Dr. Parker and Mr. Marquardt <br />Also Present: Mr. Wynne, Lieutenant Edelman and Mrs. Betsa <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />• Open Portion - 5-minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak must first <br />state their name and address. (Discussion must be limited to agenda items only). <br />Mrs. Eisenberg asked if Council is going to vote tonight. Council President Buckholtz replied, <br />we are not. <br />Mrs. Eisenberg stated, you don't have a quorum. Council President Buckholtz replied, we have a <br />quorum but we don't have the supermajority and have no desire to 'suspend the rules. Mr. Marrie <br />added, this is a Second Reading. <br />Council President Buckholtz stated we set this meeting to get the word out again to people to <br />come in and have more time and moi e opportunities to quiz us, and to ask the Finance Director <br />questions if they so desire. <br />? <br />I <br />Mrs. Mills asked Mrs. Eisenberg if slie knows when the next meeting is. Mrs. Eisenberg replied, <br />next Wednesday at 8:00. ; <br />. Second Reading of Ordinance No. 2011-11, entitled, "An emergency ordinance <br />authorizing an agreement with Anthem as and for employee health care and <br />hospitalization benefits and life insurance and AD&D benefits." Introduced by Mayor <br />Rinker and Council as a Whole. (First Reading - March 21, 2011) <br />This Ordinance will be left on Second Read.
