Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council
Monday, July 18, 2011
Page 3
Mrs. Wolgamuth replied, no.
Council President Buckholtz stated, the way we're moving it along, that might be next. That
would be great. Everybody has the e-mail address? www.maytieldvilla e.g com?
Mrs. Wolgamuth replied, yes. And there's Contactus cr,maXfieldvilla e.? cozn.
Council President Buckholtz replied, okay, great. Thanks.
DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS:
SERVICE - DouLylas Metzun?
Mr. Metzung reported that we opened up our bids for the Aintree Road program. We have asked
that be removed from tonight's agenda because we would like to have an opportunity to look into
it a little further before we bid that contract. I am asking that the Monday, August 1 St meeting be
a Special Meeting to get passed at that time. The Mayor has set up a meeting with the
neighborhood on August 4th to go over and discuss our plans for the repairs of that street. That's
where that's at. We are looking forward to that project getting underway.
BUILDING - John Marrelli
Mr. Marrelli reported that you may have noticed that across the street, the Musca Plaza, is under
construction. The business owners want everybody to know that they are all open during the
construction. It kind of looks like the place is deserted because they tore the roof off and put
fences around everything but there's aisleways so you can get in. That proj ect is probably going
to be going on for about 90 days I think.
Speaking of outdoor things, our roof bids for this building are due on Thursday. We are keeping
our fingers crossed that we have a suitable vendor with a good number on Thursday. We will
keep you posted.
ENGINEERING - Tom Cappello
There was no report.
LEGAL DEPARTMENT - Diane Calta
There was no report.
FIRE - Lieutenant Girbino
There was no report.
