Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council
Monday, October 17, 2011
Page 12
Motion to authorize expenditure in the amount of $9,975 to Northeast Interiors fop
gazebo restoration.
Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to authorize expenditure in the amount of
$9,975 to Northeast Interiors for gazebo restoration.
Council President Buckholtz asked if there. was any discussion.
Mr. Metzung stated, as I mentioned in Finance Caucus, I went out for a request for proposals. I
received three of them. This was the middle of the three as far as cost goes. It was the highest
quality material. I feel this is the best choice to take.
Council President Buckholtz asked if there were any questions or further discussion. There was
none.
Roll Call: AYES: All
NAYS: None
Motion Carried
Expenditure Approved
Motion to authorize expenditure in the amount of $4,200 to The Sagamore
Companies for grinding services.
Mr. Saponazo, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to authorize expenditure in the amount of
$4,200 to The Sagamore Companies for grinding services.
Council President Buckholtz asked if there were any other questions.
Mr. Metzung reported, this is our yearly grinding of our wood waste that we collect throughout
the year.
Mr. Saponaro stated, you will notice an increase from prior years because the person that was
doing it previously had given such tremendous pricing and then has retired?
Mr. Metzung replied, he sold his equipment. Apparently giving us that kind of pricing, if he does
that everywhere he goes, you don't make enough to survive.
Mr. Saponaro stated, so comparatively this is an increase but also it is well within the pricing that
is out there for what we are getting done for the grinding.
Council President Buckholtz asked, does it end up in our mulch?
Mr. Metzung replied, yes, we recycle it for the residents in the Spring.
Council President Buckholtz asked if there were any other comments. There were none.
Roll Call: AYES: All Motion Carried
NAYS: None Expenditure Approved
?
