Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, December 19, 2011 <br />Page 4 <br />ENGINEERING - Tom Canpello <br />There was no report. <br />LEGAL DEPARTMENT - Joe Diemert <br />Mr. Diemert wished Mayor and Couricil a Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukah and to Joe <br />Saponaro, best wishes. I have enjoyed working with you. The law department has enjoyed the <br />relationship and good luck. <br />Mr. Saponazo replied, thanlc you. I appreciate it. <br />FIRE - Chief Mohr <br />There was no report. <br />FINANCE - Ron Wvnne <br />Mr. Wynne stated, I have a couple things on the agenda this evening. <br />POLICE - Chief Edelman <br />Chief Edelman reported, we expect to go on-line with Code Red the middle of next month. That <br />will give us enough time to do some training and get all of the information in place. Chief Mohr <br />and I are working on an article for the VOV as well. <br />PARKS & RECREATION - Bill Thomas <br />Mr. Thomas dittoed what Mr. Diemert said. <br />ARCHITECT - Ron Dinardo <br />There was no report. <br />HUMAN SERVICES - Eunice Kalina <br />Mrs. Kalina reported, we had a lovely holiday party for our seniors on Saturday, December 10t'. <br />We had more than 70 people in attendance. We had a visit from Santa. We had one of Santa's <br />elves who even brought his two daughters along. That was nice. I don't know if all of you aze <br />aware, but he made a lovely presentation of a clock for me, but I think when you retire, you don't <br />have to watch the clock any more. Anyhow, it was very lovely, and I thank all of you. <br />Last week we had a birthday party for a lady who comes to play cards who turned 101. If any of <br />you watched Channel 8 news last Tuesday, you would have thought this occurred in Mayfield <br />Heights because that was the squib under her picture. Roger did a much better job with Hillcrest <br />Patch. It was accurate. If you haven't seen it, you really ought to go on-line and see it. He did a
