Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council Monday, December 19, 2011 Page 5 wonderful job. She is an amazing lady. It was a pleasure to honor her. The week before, she had fallen going to a car. She broke her collarbone and hit her head. She went to the emergency room instead of coming to cards. That was on Tuesday and on Thursday I called her daughter to see how her mom was doing and I am sure the people at cards are going to ask me about it and she said, is she there yet? I said, you're kidding, right? She said, oh no, she's coming to cards. And she did. So last week we had a nice party for her. She takes everything in stride. She's wonderful. Sharp as a tack. Roger will attest to that. He said of all the people he has interviewed at that age group, no one even comes close to ttus lady. That was a pleasure. We have been very lucky with snow removal. We did have a call yesterday that tlieir driveway hadn't been plowed on Saturday. He said he had 4 inches of snow. I don't think so. It was actually his daughter who called. I think it might have been a little exaggerated. So far so good. We are getting a lot of opt outs. People want their money. Someone came in toda.y and wanted to lnow if we would cut a check right now. I told them it has to go to Finance. They will take caze of it. That concludes my report other than to say thank you for the Proclamation, for the clock, for a11 of these beautiful flowers. It's very very nice. Naturally I have mixed emotions about leaving. I have made a lot of good friends over the years. But to everything, there is a season. PLANNING DEVELOPMENT - Ted Esborn There was nothing to report. ADNIINISTRATION - Diane Wolgamuth There was nothing to report. STANDING COMIVIITTEE REPORTS: Activities Committee - Mrs. Mills reported that the Singing Angels were sold out. I understand they had to put out extra chairs. The Menorah Lighting will be tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. Our next meeti.ng is on January 24h. Architectural Review Board - Mr. Marrelli reported that there was no meeting. There is no report. Board of Anpeals - Mr. Manelli reported that there was no meeting. There is no report. Cemeterv - Mrs. Mills talked with Mr. Korman. Because of the weather, he was not able to finish his project. He will come back in the Spri.ng and finish erecting the monuments. Citizen's Advisorv Board - Mr. Marrie reported, we don't meet in December. Our next meeting is in January. Commission on Aging - Mrs. Kalina reported, the committee met a week before the holiday parly and finalized things. I believe they have a meeting scheduled in January.
