Regular Council Meeting Minutes <br />12-20-10 <br />Page 6 <br />Beautification Committee - Mr. Saponaro reported that we had our meeting on November 30tn <br />The Minutes have not been distribtited yet. As soon as they are, I will make sure they are in <br />everyone's packet. <br />Board of Anpeals - Mr. Marrelli reported that there was no meeting. There is no report. <br />Cemeterv - Mrs. Mills reported that we decorated the fence along the Cemetery and also put the <br />usual wreath on the holiday grave. <br />Citizen's Advisorv - Mr. Marrie reported that there was no meeting in December. The next <br />meeting is in January. , <br />Commission on Aging - Mrs. Kalina reported that the Commission on Aging met on December <br />3` and pinned down last minute details for our holiday party and discussed some of the <br />upcoming events for next year. They will meet again after the beginning of the year. <br />Safetv and Service - Mrs. Cinco reported that Safety and Service met on Monday, December <br />6. At that time we discussed the fitness equipment for the new facility at the Police Department, <br />changeover of public safety equipment from the Fire Department and repair to the wall at <br />Woodlane and also from last week the trucks. They were all on the agenda for Caucus and are on <br />the agenda tonight as they went through Finance. <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Saponaro reported that the Finance Committee met this evening, <br />December 20 as well as last Monday for our Caucus and our Finance Council meeting. We had <br />20 expenditures on the agenda tonight. All were recommended for approval as well as two <br />Ordinances and three Resolutions. <br />Historical Societv - Mrs. Mills reported that a week ago Wednesday in the snowstorm we had <br />about 60 people show up for our annual potluck dinner which is held in combination with the <br />Mayfield Village Garden Club. It was really a successful dinner. We had wonderful hors de <br />voures and the main course and also desserts. Thanks to the Police Department because they <br />rescued us. They came and shoveled off the porch so we could get in and out. We are busy <br />working at the. house right now. We are replacing a11 the windowshades on the upper windows <br />with thermal window shades. We are trying to keep the cold air out. We are not quilting until <br />January. Hillcrest Council of Councils - Council President Buckholtz reported that Hillcrest Council of <br />Councils met last Saturday. It was an interesting discussion involving regionalization of certain <br />safety forces. There was a nice presentation and election of officers. I will be Treasurer for <br />another year or so. Mrs. Mills joined me. It was a good presenta.tion. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mr. Thomas reported that M.A.R.C. Board met on Thursday, December 2°a <br />Director Weinberg reported on the floor hockey for 6th, 7t' and 8th grade. The flag football for <br />3`d, 4t' and 5t' graders are going strong and will complete in a couple weeks. A parent suggested <br />instead of trophies for all players, she offered to print certificates for all participants so the
