Council Meeting - 7/18/05 <br />Page 10 <br />SPECIr~L CO.1bIMITTEE:ItEPQRTS <br />2020 Vision Committee - Dr. Parker said there is no meeting he's aware of scheduled, so he's <br />going to assume they were waiting to get results from the last survey that was sent out. <br />Mayor Rinker said Mr. Chapman and Michelle Bande-Zalatoris have been setting up meetings <br />with a number of the businesses around the immediate intersection area. Musca is one, but all <br />the tenants but he thinks the goal is to really start getting more hands on and more direct <br />feedback from the property owners and tenants themselves in conjunction with the <br />questionnaires, so it's like a personal follow up to the questionnaires that went out: and the <br />canvassing that we've done. He feels that within a matter of months, are some tangible plans for <br />some improvements, customizing for the individual properties if we can do it and believes that <br />2020 will be a good follow up for meeting and discussing these. <br />Information & Technolo~v - Mr. Buckholtz stated that Mr.1Vlarrie has already covered this and <br />we'll refer to the Caucus minutes for that. <br />OLD. B~SINES.S <br />~ Phase III Civic Center -Word of Grace <br />Mr. Buckholtz stated this was covered in Caucus. <br />Second Reading of Ordinance No. 2005-A8, entitled, "An emergency ordinance authorizing <br />and directing the Mayor to enter into a Development Agreement with Progressive Casualty <br />Insurance Company relative to the southern most part of the Northwest Quadrant." Introduced by <br />Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. First Reading May 16, Second Reading June 20. <br />Mrs. Mills made a motion, seconded by Mrs. Cinco for this to remain on second reading. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />1Vlotio~ Carried <br />OPEN POIITION - 3 minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak must first state <br />their name and address.
