Council Meeting - 7/18/05 <br />Page 9 <br />Commission on Aging -Mrs. Mills read Mrs. Kalina's letter, which is attached to these minutes. <br />Drainage & Infrastructure/Storm water 1Vlana ement - Mr. Buckholtz advised we've already <br />covered. <br />Safety and Service -Mrs. Cinco wants all of the minutes from Caucus be attached to Council <br />because so much of the discussion took place in Caucus, that should be discussed here, so they <br />are incorporated by reference herein. Mrs. Cinco stated there was nothing more than what had <br />already been discussed. <br />Finance Committee -Mrs. Mills stated we had 27 items on the Agenda and two were deferred <br />for further action, which we already know about. <br />Historical Society -The ladies are quilting on a special quilt that was done by one of our <br />quilters; it's a Baltimore Album; it's all applique and the woman worked on it for 15 years and <br />she's letting us quilt it now. Everything else is going well at the house. We did have some <br />visitors from the Western Reserve Historical Society today and they were astounded on what our <br />house had to offer. <br />M.A.R.C. - Dr. Parker said the Mayfield Area Recreation Council Board rnet at Parkview Pool <br />on July 7s'; a number of items were discussed, such as financial statements, and the success of <br />the blue flag football program this past spring; women's tennis was their only program this <br />summer and Mr. Thomas is in the process for the 7a' Annual NBA program to be held i~ <br />October. The next meeting will be Thursday, September 1, 2x05 at 7:00 PM at the Board of Ed. <br />Mrs. Cinco asked that the minutes be copied. for Council and put in the packets. <br />Mr. Thomas and Dr. Parker said that would be taken care of. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Marquardt said the issue of the rubbish regulation for <br />residential homeowners was dropped, apparently we could not find any real good record of what <br />the issue was. Second item was a proposed ordinance to mobile car boom boxes and Chief <br />Dearden did not feel it was necessary to enact any additional legislation from what we have in <br />our noise ordinance. The third item, the fire inspection fee ordinance was proposed and it was <br />discussed and that will be brought back to Ordinance Review in September to move to final <br />legislation. <br />Planning and Zoning - No report. <br />Recreation Board - Mr. Mamie advised the Recreation Board doesn't meet in the summer and <br />the next meeting will be on September 21, 2005, but the associates and people on the board work <br />on the Debbie Hudaco Run, Summer Sizzler Swim Meet, the Triathlon and the Softball Pool <br />Party, so they are busy, but there was no meeting. <br />
