Mrs. Cinco stated there was nothing more than what had
already been discussed.
Finance Committee -Mrs. Mills stated we had 27 items on the Agenda and two were deferred
for further action, which we already know about.
Historical Society -The ladies are quilting on a special quilt that was done by one of our
quilters; it's a Baltimore Album; it's all applique and the woman worked on it for 15 years and
she's letting us quilt it now. Everything else is going well at the house. We did have some
visitors from the Western Reserve Historical Society today and they were astounded on what our
house had to offer.
M.A.R.C. - Dr. Parker said the Mayfield Area Recreation Council Board rnet at Parkview Pool
on July 7s'; a number of items were discussed, such as financial statements, and the success of
the blue flag football program this past spring; women's tennis was their only program this
summer and Mr. Thomas is in the process for the 7a' Annual NBA program to be held i~
October. The next meeting will be Thursday, September 1, 2x05 at 7:00 PM at the Board of Ed.
Mrs. Cinco asked that the minutes be copied. for Council and put in the packets.
Mr. Thomas and Dr. Parker said that would be taken care of.
Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Marquardt said the issue of the rubbish regulation for
residential homeowners was dropped, apparently we could not find any real good record of what
the issue was. Second item was a proposed ordinance to mobile car boom boxes and Chief
Dearden did not feel it was necessary to enact any additional legislation from what we have in
our noise ordinance. The third item, the fire inspection fee ordinance was proposed and it was
discussed and that will be brought back to Ordinance Review in September to move to final
legislation.
Planning and Zoning - No report.
Recreation Board - Mr. Mamie advised the Recreation Board doesn't meet in the summer and
the next meeting will be on September 21, 2005, but the associates and people on the board work
on the Debbie Hudaco Run, Summer Sizzler Swim Meet, the Triathlon and the Softball Pool
Party, so they are busy, but there was no meeting.
