DRAFT Regular Council Meeting 9/26/05 Page 13 Mr. Buckholtz indicated that we have the gentlemen from Time Warner and Adelphia here. He asked if they had a presentation or anything they wished to speak on or if they just wanted to field questions. Mr. Vavrus indicated that he is just there to answer questions. Mr. Buckholtz indicated that that item will come up and thanked the gentlemen for being here. FOR DISCUSSION A motion to authorize expenditure to Southeastern Equipment for repair of the Service Department's front end loader (not to exceed $4,200.00). 1 Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount not to exceed $4,200.00 for repair of the Service Department's front end loader. Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. There were no comments Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Expenditure Authorized A motion to authorize the purchase of a crack sealer from DJL Material (not to exceed $10,000.00). Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to authorize the purchase of a crack sealer (not to exceed $10,000.00). Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. Mr. Metzung explained that this is to purchase the material. We do it in-house. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Expenditure Authorized A motion to authorize reimbursement to Mt. Vernon Square in an amount not to exceed $6,889.80 for repair and replacement of their sprinkler system damaged by road construction: Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount not to exceed $6,889.60 for repair and replacement of Mt. Vernon Square's sprinkler system. Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. Mrs. Mills asked for clarification of the language, suggesting that perhaps it should say lawn sprinkler because:that is what that is.
