Regular Council Meeting 11/21/05 Page 13 First Reading of Ordinance No. 2005-46, entitled "An Emergency Ordinance Authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with C.A. Agresta for driveway repairs at the Upper 40's as recommended by the Drainage & Infrastructure Committee without the necessity of advertisement and formal bidding". Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None 1 Motion Carried Rules Suspended Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2005-46. Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. Ms. Calta noted that this was already approved by Council in September. It was not authorized without the necessity of bidding and advertisements. This is a housekeeping measure to go back and clarify. ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried Ordinance Enacted First Reading of Ordinance No. 2005-47, entitled "An Emergency Ordinance Authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract for the purchase of an E-1 Corporation, 75 ft. Side Stacker Ladder Truck for the Fire Department in an amount not to exceed $572,621.00 without the necessity of advertisement and formal bidding". Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. NAYS: None Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried Rules Suspended NAYS: None Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2005-47. Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. He indicated that this was covered at Caucus, Safety and Service and Finance and the amount has been reduced.
