Any feedback with regard to arrangements are welcome from everyone. In conjunction
with that, we are trying to work on a schedule where we will focus as much as we can on
emphasizing this facility as the one where the "work" of the Village is being done. It is going to
take some adjustment in some of the scheduling and where we have certain meetings. There are
limitations to what we can do because we have stairs down and up. Apart from those
constraints, overall he is optimistic that we can utilize this to the full advantage. This is the kind
of input that we will consider when we look down the road at evaluating issues with architects
as to potential upgrades and even renovation to the facility. Thank you to Doug for coming up
with a more creative twist tonight. We were looking at a different configuration that did not
work out. Last time we were spread about 180 degrees. This is the solution for now. The
double ring did not work.
COMMENTS FROM COUNCIL PRESIDENT BUCKHOLTZ
Reporting on the Beautification Committee, Council President Buckholtz stated that we do not have
an Ordinance as of yet, but we are working on one. Mrs. Mills stated that she
put something in the packet about Beautiful Ohio.
Mr. Buckholtz also relayed a phone call he received this evening from a resident critical of someone
soliciting door to door for donations. They had a permit. Mr. Buckholtz encountered the same person
on Saturday and it was a startling situation. The caller this evening has elderly parents living on
another street. This gentleman was going around collecting for Wheelchair Basketball. The caller's
parents are elderly and sick, getting over some chemotherapy. They asked him to leave and he kept
coming back. In Mr. Buckholtz's situation, he came to the door just as it was turning dark outside.
When Mr. Buckholtz asked him what he wanted, he tried to negotiate with him. Mr. Buckholtz asked
him to come back another time. The gentleman advised that he had been in the neighborhood almost
all day and had been watching his house and no one was home. Mr. Buckholtz indicated that he was
