If you should choose to go, there will be several members of the school board and one <br />faculty member representative that would go along. Dr. Price went to a regional meeting and <br />made great connections. It is not a matchmaker kind of thing, but you get to see the best of the <br />Sister City project and kind of pick and choose. It takes two or three years to get ahead of steam, <br />but it is exciting and fun. It is not work. <br />Mayor Rinker and Council President Buckholtz thanked Dr. Price for coming and <br />reporting on Sister Cities. <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS: <br />SERVICE - Douglas Metzung <br />Mr. Metzung reported that they have completed the last of the 530 trees that were <br />planted on the second phase of S.O.M. Center bringing the total in excess of 700 trees on that <br />project. <br />BUILDING -John Marrelli <br />Nothing to report. <br />ENGINEERING -Tom Cappello <br />Nothing to report. <br />PROPERTY MANAGER - Lloyd Chapman <br />Nothing to report. <br />LEGAL DEPARTMENT -Joe Diemert <br />Nothing to report. <br />FIltE - Mr. Neuman <br />Nothing to report. <br />FINANCE -Phillip Brett <br />Mr. Brett reported that several items are on the agenda this evening. Some are <br />appropriation ordinances, some are advances. Two pieces of legislation deal with creating <br />Wi-Fi network in the Village which he will answer questions on at that time. The <br />appropriation ordinances correct a deficiency in the last one covering the transfer to the <br />Upper 40 fund. This one corrects it. This should be the final one for the year.
