Regular Council Minutes
5/16/OS
Page 15
Mr. Diemert said yes. I think everyone probably got my letter that we immediately approached
them. His response was totally nonnegotiable and an outrageous amount and then wanted the
land to revert back. His demands would not work and it is best to get s this started and hope tha
negotiations will reach a reasonable plane during the process. The sooner the better so that we
keep Progressive in the loop.
Council President Buckholtz asked any other discussion?
t
ROLL CALL: AYES: All
NAYS: None

Motion Carried
Ordinance Enacted
ANY OTHER MATTER THAT MAY COME BEFORE COUNCIL
Mrs. Mills asked, will we need another meeting this coming week?
Council President Buckholtz said it doesn't seem so at this point. I just asked that people kind of
be alerted to that with several things going on. Actually, I knew Dr. Stabile was coming to town;
and I wanted to make sure he had a chance to address us and I wasn't sure if he was coming on
the 16th or the 23'd. My plans all fell through for the 23rd so it just became more complicated that
to just put out that little memo.
Mrs. Roman said bids for the Thornapple Culvert and toters are due this Thursday.
Council President Buckholtz and several other people said just have it on June 6ti1.
NOTE: THERE WILL BE A SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING ON JUNE 6.
CLOSING COMMENTS
ADJOURNMENT
Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to adjourn.
Roll Call: AYES: All
NAYS: None Motion Carried
The meeting adjourned at 9:03 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Donna J. Roman, CMC
Executive Assistant/Clerk of Council
