Regula,c Council Meeting. <br />2-19-01 <br />Page 10 <br />Dr. Parker asked Chief Mohr if he is satisfied with Ius question about the interference--there were <br />questions about our frequency output_ <br />Chief Mohr said he has not received that information. <br />Dr. Parker asked Mr. Diemert if we will have that confirmed as far as how these new sites will affect <br />or interact with our safety farces. <br />Mr. Diemert saict we nave been looking at this for 3 months; we made sure the Chief was involved <br />all along with this to make sure that that wouldl be done. He asked Chief 1Vlohr if we required <br />testtng. <br />Chief Mohr said yes. <br />Dr. Parker said as long as that is part af the agreement and meets our safety forces.... <br />Mayor Rinker said it has to be clear that they aFe prohibited fram being able to interfere; they would <br />have to make adjustments. <br />Council President Marquardt said the issue was that they actually are subject to testing. <br />Mr. Diemert said that is part of it and they have agreed to execute it in that fashion. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Canied <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />OPEN POltTIO1V - 3 minute limit imposed by Chair. I wanted to <br />point out that f wa:s somewhat disappointect (not on your comment) on the fact that Green <br />Mountain was awarded this by an 8 County/94 iocal government commission. From what I have <br />read (and I could be mistaken; I haven't tesearched this as thoroughly as I need) is that Greerr <br />Mountain is in effect a broker. That is a shell game. Right now, the mark-up in the market-- <br />these fo}ks are in business srnce 1997--hundreds have popped up in the last 18 months. They are
