A motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $14,680 to Governor's Village
Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Ilacqua, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount
of $14,680 to Governor's Village.
Council President Marquardt asked if there were any comments.
Mr. Busa said I am not too sure what this is for.
Mayor Rinker said this is for the curb cut.
Mr. Busa said why are we paying for it?
Mayor Rinker said that was part of our agreement. We gave them the opportunity to build there
and we had to cut through a road that was preexisting. We also had a TIF agreement that will
last for a number of years. This will be the only year where we will have to trade off--so we
agreed to cover this cost that they incuned in order to do that. Hence forward, those monies will
come to us and we will put them to work where we want to. This is a one-shot deal for this
particular expense.
Council President Marquardt said that was the original agreement.
