Regular Council Meeting:. <br />2-19-01 <br />Page 8 <br />footprint to address otlier issues in an economic and feasible way that wouTd crop up along S.O.M. <br />that would be impacted by the widening and the placement of the bike path (i.e. other roads, <br />Wanda's flower shop, otiier fencing aiong S.O:1Vf.). We fett very good about ftus. We recommended <br />it unanimously. We discussed it at about 4 or 5 meetings and we would like to see it pass. <br />Council President Marquardt asked if there were any other comments. (There were none.) Councii <br />President Marquardt said if yau read all the mmutes; this was pretty goad cammittee wark. So many <br />issues came up about this and finally got resoived into something that everybody could agree on. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />SOM Widening Option #4 Authorized <br />Council President Marquardt said the next 3 rnotions (options) are not valid at this point since we <br />passed that one. <br />Amotian to authorize Oution #3: To modify the typical cross section (pull in bike <br />path, taper towards roadway cu.rb at both sides of Aintree North entranceway.) The <br />existing fence and entrance wall would be outside of an}r neuv right of-way purchases <br />and not be removed as part of the project. All costs would be O.D.O.T. eIigible. <br />A motion to authorize Omtion #2: To modify the iypical cross section (pull in bike <br />path 2 feet to the west to save existing fence.) The current entrance walls would be <br />removed additional property would be purchased and new entrance walls constructed on <br />Village property. The additional right-of-way and construction costs would be a Village <br />expense estimated at $18,000. <br />A motion to authorize Oution #1: To maintain the typical cross section (outside edge <br />of bike path 18 feet east of curb face.) The eausting fences and entrance walls would be <br />demolished, necessary right-of-way taken, and properiy owners compensated for loss. It <br />would be property owners' responsibility to reconstruct walls or fence on their property. <br />First Iaeading of Ordinance No. 2001-01, entitled; "An emergency ordinance establishing <br />Parkview Swimining Pool employees salary for the 2001 season." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and <br />Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three separate oecasions. <br />RoZI Cail: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rutes Suspended <br />Ntr.
