Regular Council Meeting 9-24-01 Page 19 First Reading of Ordinance No. 2001-17, entitled; "An emergency ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Xtreme Landscaping for the purpose of snow removal." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Buckholtz, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Rules Suspended Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2001-17. Council President Marquardt asked if there was any discussion. There were no comments. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Ordinance Enacted First Reading of Ordinance No. 2001-18, entitled; "An emergency ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Royalcare Enterprises for the purpose of snow removal." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Rules Suspended Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2001-18. Council President Marquardt asked if there was any discussion. Mayor Rinker asked Mrs. Roman to remind them of the timetable for getting residents signed up for the program. Mrs. Roman said the letters will go out tomorrow. I figured either an October 12th or 15th deadline for people to get them back to us. Then after we get all the applications back, we divide them between 3 contractors. Then we send a letter back to the residents telling them who their contractor is and what his phone number is. We need to have the list of the people on the program for the contractor by the beginning of November.
