Mrs. Pollock said thank you very much; I just wanted everybody to know what we are dealing <br />with. <br />Council President Marquardt asked if there were any other comments from the audience. <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br />Regular Meeting of Council - September 24, 2001 - Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a <br />motion to approve the minutes. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Minutes-Approved <br />COMMENTS FROM MAYOR RINKER <br />Mayor Rinker said he has no comments at this time. <br />COMMENTS FROM COUNCIL PRESIDENT 1VIARQUARDT <br />Council President Marquardt had no comments. <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS <br />Parks & Recreation - Mr. Thomas said the third annual window-painting contest is taking place <br />now. Students in 61n_ 8th grade axe painting windows throughout the Village. The judginp will <br />take place on October 18. The MBA Youth Basketball Program will begin November 3r . The <br />Winter brochure will be mailed on November 1 S`. On November 8th, the 9tn _ 12th graders will be <br />participating in a Teen Event called the Super Happy Fun Time which was a name that came up <br />from the students. We will have 41ive bands, a Gladiator Joust, video games, ping pong and <br />refreshments. That will be November 8 t h from 7:15 - 10:30 p.m. in the Field House at the High <br />School. ' <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Activities Committee - Mrs. Roman said the Committee will meet the first Wednesday of <br />November. We are looking for a different caterer for the Appreciation Dinner. If anyone has <br />suggestions, please let us know. <br />Mrs. Roman reminded everyone that Voice of the Village articles are due.
