12-17-01 <br />Page 10 <br />Dr. Parker, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2001-26. <br />Council President Marquardt asked if there was any discussion. <br />There were no comments. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 2001-27, entitled; "An emergency ordinance authorizing the <br />reservation and dedication to and for the Village of Mayfield particular portions of land owned <br />by the Village of Mayfield Village along S.O.M. Center Road, between Wilson Mills Road <br />proceeding north to White Road, for public highway, street and avenue purposes, and purposes <br />related or incidental thereto." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Ilacqua, seconded by Mr. Buckholtz, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2001-27. <br />Mayor Rinker asked Mr. Burgess to state for the record the basis for this so we can track what's <br />going on. <br />Mike Burgess of URS, said the need for this particular legislation is to provide O.D.O.T. <br />evidence of dedication of these rights-of-way along S.O.M. Center Road for the S.O.M. Center <br />Road widening project. It is one of the elements they require as part of the documentation for <br />right-of-way certification. <br />Mayor Rinker asked Mr. Burgess to explain this in terms of the sequencing how we are <br />approaching with the other issues. <br />Mr. Burgess said this allows us to initiate the C.E.I. relocation work but in context of the other <br />properties that will follow this, the Village-owned property will be dedicated and then we will <br />proceed with the individual appraisals and offers to all the other property owners. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 2001-28, entitled; "An ordinance appropriating funds for <br />current expenses & expenditures of Mayfield Village, Ohio for the period from January 1, 2001
