This being our first one, costs are a little higher. Next year, costs <br />should be less as we redo the previous format. Committee recornmends approval. <br />(10) Cominittee recomxnends approval <br />(11) Committee would like to have this okayed tonight as tlie price will be going up on <br />January 28 in the amount of $1,800. It is below the original estimate of $20,000. <br />(12) $91,549 is the correct aznount to Sommers for a modular office building for the <br />Police Deparhnent. Committee recommends approval. <br />(13) There were 3 bids. We are told the quality of the Bonnell plow was much greater, <br />so that is why we went with a higher priced item. (Committee recommends approval.) <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mrs. Cinco said they will meet Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at <br />Landerhaven. Historical Socieiv - Mrs. Mills said the installation of the sub-flooring in the one-room <br />schoolhouse has started. Two windows have been constructed in the school room. <br />Two of the Library windows on the north side will be replaced. The library will have <br />History major interns from Ursuline College working on abstracting 19' century <br />journals and letters. This afternoon one of the motors in the heating system had to be <br />replaced. <br />M.A.RC - Mrs. Cinco said they did not meet in January. They will meet next Thursday <br />at 7:30. ' <br />Ordinance Review Comnlittee - Mr. Samac said they met January 11. They discussed <br />several issues. One being wage considerations for Architectural Review Board. We <br />discussed a new zone classification proposal that would address public lands, ' <br />buildings, parks and recreation areas. We discussed an ordinance that would address <br />infrastructure improvements that possibly would be in cooperation with residents, low <br />interest type loans and/or grants from the Village to do certain infrastructure <br />improvements. Also, a similar orclinance that might provide services with home <br />improvements, primarily exterior improvements. I believe all of Council received a <br />copy of the minutes. All of these items, except the ARB wage ordinance, are in a <br />preliminary stage now. Mr. Samac said he will keep everyone informed as things <br />progress. <br />;,,.. <br />Plannin? and Zonin? - Mrs. Mills said we will be discussing the proposed parking <br />garage for Progressive and the proposed assisted living facility at Governor's Point. <br />The meeting will be tomorrow evening at 7:30 p.m. here. <br />Recreation Board - Mr. Buckholtz said the Board mek, ,.?,??
