Historical Societv - Mrs. Mills said the flooring is being placed in the one-room schoolhouse. Nancy Plastine and Pat Negrelli spoke to the Hillcrest Rotary. Two more tours of the house will be given in the next 2 weeks. They are getking a donated new computer for the Library. M.A.R.C. - Mrs. Cinco said M.A.R.C. met on Thursday, Apri16. Mr. Thomas updated the Board on the teen aciavities and Mayfield Village recreational activities being planned. They (MARC) sold all their baseball tickets and will consider implementing an instructional hockey league for 2"d and 3' grades. Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Ilacqua said the Coxnnlittee discussed the illegal discharge of firearms ordinance and recommends the inclusion of arrows and bows in our ordinance. He explained that we have received complaints that arrows shot at targets have fallen onto other residential properties. It only takes one incident to create a tragedy so the committee thinks it makes sense to include arrows and bows in our ordinance. The Committee also discussed the proposed U 4 zoning classification. Mr. Samac continued to delve into this issue and came back with the fact that if the Village chose to put the new classification into place and move Village-owned properties into it, if we sold any Village-owned properties, a referendum would be needed to revert the zoning back to the original zoning. He doesn't think it gives the proposed classification the weight that Council is looking for. The Committee is continuing to discuss that. The Committee also discussed the proposed make-up and purposes of the Drainage and Infrastruchzre Committee and will continue moving forward to get that in place. Plann;ng and Zoning _ Mrs. Mills said P&Z met on Apri13' and voted unanimously for approval of a ttivo-year Special Use 1'ermit for 731 Beta Drive. They also approved the variance with some consideration for additional landscaping and green space. Recreation Board - Mr. Buckholtz said they will be meeting this Wednesday.
