MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL
Mayfield Village
February 18, 2002
The Council of Mayfield Village met in regular session on Monday, February 18, 2002, at
8:00 p.m. in the Mayfield Village Senior Center/Community Room. Council President Bill
Buckholtz presided.
ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Buckholtz, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ilacqua, Mr. Marquardt,
Mr. Marrie, Mrs. Mills and Dr. Parker (8:02 p.m.)
Absent: Mr. Brett
Also Present: Mayor Rinker, Mr. Cappello, Mr. Diemert, Mr. Metzung,
Chief Mohr, Mr. Samac, Chief Stevens, Mr. Thomas
and Mrs. Roman
The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given.
Council President Buckholtz said we have an amended agenda--it should say 2/18/02 in the right-
hand corner of the first page. We have added some drainage problems on Echo Drive on the
agenda.
OPEN PORTION
Barney Schwenzer - 6751 Sandalwood Drive - The proposals on Ordinance No. 2001-32
regarding rezoning [he cited the parcel numbers and addresses] residential property to general
business. I have a petition here signed--the people who signed this petition want to stop the
rezoning of those so-called parcels from residential to general business. They want this property
to stay zoned residential. If they cannot stop it, they want it to be brought to an issue vote during
the voting time. It has to be posted one month before the vote date in the Voice of the Village
so the citizens of Mayfield Village know this issue is up to a vote. I have these signatures and I
would like it to be put in your official thing so that way you know there are people who don't
want that to go through.
Mr. Schwenzer gave the petition to Mrs. Roman. (He asked for a copy.)
CONSIDERATION OF 1VIINUTES
The minutes were not considered.
COMMENTS FROM MAYOR RINKER '
Mayor Rinker had no comment.
