We are looking to see how we can modify it and adjust it to the grant. Six <br />hundred thousand dollars is a gift horse that we don't want to walk away from. <br />Council President Buckholtz said we were going to see if we could do half the project since they <br />gave us half the money. <br />OLD BUSIloTESS <br />• Executive Session (Real Estate) <br />Council President Buckholtz said we need a motion to go into Executive Session for the purposes of <br />real estate and also personnel matters. He welcomed everyone [in the audience] to stay--or go. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Ilacqua, made a motion to recess into Executive Session to discuss real <br />estate and personnel matters. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Council went into Executive Session at 8:32 p.m. <br />Council reconvened at 9:52 p.m. <br />Second Reading of Ordinance No. 2002-05, entitled; "An emergency ordinance authorizing the <br />Mayor to negotiate and enter into a purchase agreement with Nadette Nasseri as and for the <br />acquisition of real estate located at 586 S.O.M. Center Road." Introduced by 1Vlayor Rinker and <br />Council as a Whole. (First Reading 2/18/02) <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2002-05. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there were any comments. <br />Mr. Marquardt said he believes the proposed price for this piece of property is higher than we should <br />be paying in the Village; he thinks that should be taken into consideration. <br />Mr. Ilacqua said he supports Mr. Marquardt's point of view. <br />11 <br />
