MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL Mayfield Village June 17, 2002 The Council of Mayfield Village met in regular session on Monday, June 17, 2002 in the Mayfield Village Senior Center/Community Room. Council President Bill Buckholtz presided. ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Buckholtz, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Marquardt, Mr. Marrie, Mrs. Mills and Dr. Parker Absent: Mr.Ilacqua Also Present: Mayor Rinker, Mr. Brett, Ms. Calta, Mr. Cappello, Mr. Hovancsek, Mr. Metzung, Chief Mohr, Mr. Samac, Chief Stevens, Mr. Thomas and Mrs. Roman The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. OPEN PORTION Rick Christian, 510 S.O.M. Center Road - said I think everyone knows where I stand re the road going in and the height variance but he has another problem. C.E.I. put poles in and tore up 33' x 190' of my front yard. Somebody said they were going to take care of it, level it off and reseed. They leveled it off with a 500-ton bulldozer which left tracks. They just scraped it kind • of level, planted grass and put hay on top of it. Now the grass is growing and I just want to know who's going to cut the grass because iYs not going to be me. I'm not going to take my mower through the ruts. Either something has to be done or the grass is going to grow. Council President Buckholtz said we will address that at a later time. We have a lot going on with the road; thanks for making us aware of that. CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES Regular Council Meeting - Mav 20, 2002 - Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to approve the minutes. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Minutes Approved COMIVIENTS FROM MAYOR RINKER In response to Mr. Christian, follow up with Mr. Metzung but I'd like to know between the status of the temporary take and further down the road-but it may be most sensible that we do cut it just to maintain it for that interim period. I'd like to get more feedback from the Service Director but we will follow up with you.
