Regular Council Meeting <br />6-17-02 <br />Page 4 <br />Historical Societv - Mrs. Mills said the Historic House basement area is being readied for the <br />Ohio Bicentennial celebration beginning March lst, 2003. Track lighting to be installed for the <br />tool and photo areas. The stairwell has been painted and papered. The artifact room is being <br />catalogued and new shelving is being replaced in the museum office. Don't forget our Ice <br />Cream Social on September 11 and military, police and fire tribute. <br />M.A.R.C. Mr. Marrie said there is no report; no meeting. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Marquardt said there was no meeting. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Marquardt said Planning and Zoning had a special workshop on May <br />29 where there was extensive thoughtful discussion of the new zoning category for <br />Planned Residential Development. The first review of it was finished off and it was put into a <br />draft form. We also had a meeting on June 3. The only item on the agenda was the lot <br />consolidation for Judge Alvin Krenzler. It was recommended for approval. <br />Recreation Board - Mr. Marrie said our next meeting will be this Wednesday at 7:30 at Parkview <br />Pool. We will be updated about all our summer programs. We will also review last year's <br />drawings of future development south of the pool for our fields, etc. <br />Sewer Liaison Committee - Council President Buckholtz said there is no report. <br />SPECIAL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />S.O.M. Center Road Widening Committee - Mrs. Mills reported that the committee met May 22 <br />and discussed the assessment of the gas line along S.O.M. Center Road--and, if necessary, the <br />cost and replacement. They are trying to decide whether it has to be all replaced or not. <br />Completion date for C.E.I. work is approximately June 30. The next phase of work on the poles <br />will be cable and AT&T line. Other issues discussed: progress of the appraisal of the properties <br />along S.O.M. and the Metroparks northern bike path underpass. The next meeting will be July <br />23 at 7:30 p.m. <br />OLI) Bi7SINESS <br />• A motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $820.99 to the Walter Drane <br />Company (Authorization was given 2/18/02 in an amount not to exceed $6,000 for <br />recodification of the Codified Ordinances) <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of <br />$820.99 to the Walter Drane Company. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />4
