~ Regular Council Meeting
9-23-02
Page 15
Mayor Rinker says so we're talking in a ball park anywhere from 150, whatever the
frontage is to a depth of anywhere from 10, 15, 20 feet. O.K., thanks.
Council President Buckholtz asked, so we really don't need to act on this?
Mr. Brett said no but at one point I may come in with a package so that you are aware.
You can scan that and see where the parcels are approximately now and those parcels that
have been negotiated. As Mrs. Mills stated, they'd like to get this done by the end of
October. I'd like to come back within a certain variance of those numbers now on the
ones that are over $2500 and get authorization to do those.
Council President Buckholtz said so perhaps for the October Caucus you'll have an
analysis of roughly what it's coming down to per foot.
Mr. Brett said no, it will be by parcel. On some of those, the reviews are finished. The
appraisals are done on all the property. As the reviews come in, then those numbers will
flesh out.
~, Council President Buckholtz said then the October Regular Council we could just have a
package motion.
Mr. Brett said we delineate certain parcels and can ask for authorization on that not to
exceed a certain dollar amount.
Council President Buckholtz said if there's any parcels that don't fit, if there is sort of a
formula that naturally comes out of it, if there are any parcels that require any
negotiations that don't fit within a certain range, then let's vote on those individually if
we can.
Mr. Brett said yes, there will be other procedures with those as well.
• Acceptance of the tree/lawn tree maintenance bid -Lowest bidder: Van Curen
Services for $9,780 for the Aintree Park area and $3,400 for the Wildwood area.
Mrs. Mills, seconded by Dr. Parker made a motion to approve acceptance of the tree/lawn
tree maintenance bid -Lowest bidder: Van Curen Services for $9,780 for the Aintree
Park area and $3,400 for the Wildwood area.
Council President Buckholtz asked, any discussion?
There were no comments.
