c <br />.~ <br />1 <br /> <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />12-16-02 <br />Page 17 <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />A motion to remove from the table (& give second reading) of: A motion to authorize an <br />expenditure in the amount of $8,700 to BTS to undertake Phase I of a telecommunications <br />analysis <br />Council President Buckholtz said now we're looking for a motion to remove from the table a motion <br />to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $8,700 to BTS to undertake Phase I of the <br />telecommunications analysis. <br />Mr. Riter said Mr. President, I would like to make a motion to remove from the table and give a <br />second reading of the motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $8,700 to BTS to <br />undertake Phase I of a telecommunications analysis. Mrs. Cinco seconded the motion. <br />Council President Buckholtz said okay; do we vote on that? <br />Law Director Diemert said yes. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Removed from Table <br />Dr. Parker asked, do you need a certain number of votes for that, Joe-to un-table it? <br />Mr. Diemert said no. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked, now, do we need a motion to suspend if we want to go ahead <br />and approve it tonight? <br />Mr. Diemert said you should; yes. <br />Council President Buckholtz said so then I would need a--- <br />Mr. Riter, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to suspend the 3`a reading--the rules of <br />Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />
