Regular Council Meeting 12-16-02 Page 18 Mr. Riter, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to enact an expenditure in the amount of $8,700 to BTS to undertake Phase I of a telecommunications analysis. Council President Buckholtz said okay; discussion? We've discussed this at several forums so I'll call for a roll call. There were no other comments. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Expenditure Authorized First Reading of Ordinance No. 2002-41, entitled; "An ordinance appropriating funds for current expenses & expenditures of Mayfield Village, Ohio for the period from January 1, 2002 and ending December 31, 2002 and declaring an emergency." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. (Council President Buckholtz noted there was a typo in the Ordinance Number; the agenda read 20022-41.) Dr. Parker, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Rules Suspended Dr. Parker, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2002-41. Council President Buckholtz asked, discussion? Mr. Brett said as I related in Finance Committee, the two funds that have been affected by changes in this appropriation are the General Bond Retirement Fund to account for some additional debt service as a result of drawing the State Infrastructure Bank loan that we had established, probably, 5 years ago now; and some activity in the Hillcrest Area Fire Radio Fund which is actually pretty much a trusted agency fund that the Village is the custodian of so it's not really so much the Village's expenditures on that. I'm open for any questions on either of those two changes. Council President Buckholtz asked any questions on that-or further comments?
