Regular Council Meeting
2-17-03
Buildim
After Mr. Samac had no comment, Mayor Rinker said wait, there is something-Carney is
coming Thursday. At least give everyone---
Mr. Samac said heads up concerning the--at Planning Commission this Thursday we will be
having a very preliminary-I want to stress very preliminary-site plan for the property next to
Pizzazz, the Logalbo property, proposed retail office-type building to be placed on the property
by a new owner; it has nothing to do with a liquor store. Also as the Mayor mentioned earlier,
on the 13th of March we will be looking at a preliminary plan for the Skoda, Minotti addition on
Beta Drive. Again, that is a pretty preliminary plan but we are going to trying to involve anyone
and everyone; all the groups, 2020, Board of Appeals, Council, along with Planning Commission
to go through this project so that everybody is on the same page during the entire process.
Mayor Rinker said thanks.

Council President Buckholtz said Bernie, if I can add-as long as you mentioned it, could you
try to contact members or some representative of 2020, particularly, like this Thursday, this .
meeting and for the 13th-you know, get people working together. As a matter of fact I don't
know if other property owners---if there's a way to sort of bring other property owners,
particularly up here on this corner-we've talked about it kind of behind the scenes but since we
are bringing it forth, you know, in a public forum, I mean, there's lots of nice things that can be
done up there if people can work together-if there's anything we can do to reinforce that....
Mr. Samac said I know I had mentioned to Donna; are we planning on sending notification to
people on those streets?
Mrs. Roman said well I don't know---
Mayor Rinker said I think so, yes.
Council President Buckholtz said well it could be an informal invitation; I don't know if he is
asking for-oh, he is asking for variances-but not yet---
Mr. Samac said he will be asking but it won't be at that meeting but I want to make everyone
aware of some of the variances----
Council President Buckholtz said you may just want to contact, informally, the other property
owners in that quadrant right over there and see if we can get some cooperation.
Mr. Samac said all right. I need a little more direction though. How? To what extent do you
want us to go to? I mean, do you want me to notify everybody on Seneca, or---
