Special Mtg Minutes <br />3-31-03 <br />Page 7 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Council President Buckholtz said, the only thing I want to ask is, and I don't know if iYs <br />appropriate, the trees that are being removed, is somebody overseeing that someone doesn't <br />unnecessarily remove a tree from somebody's property. <br />Mr.. Metzung said, any tree that's going to be removed now, would have been removed later <br />anyhow. They are all within the clearing right-of-way. The trees that we are taking down right <br />now are either (A) Indiana bat trees or (B) In the way of C.E.I. Any tree that is removed, is in the <br />right-of-way and will be removed at some point. <br />Mr. Brett asked, by definition, if they'-re attracted to Indiana bat, don't they have to be dead? <br />We're talking dead trees to start with. <br />Mr. Metzung said, yes. <br />Dr. Parker said, I would assume it would be a minor additional cost it terms that we would have <br />had to pay to take them down anyhow. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked, will this be reimbursed from the S.O.M. Widening Project? <br />Mr. Brett said yes, through one of the funding sources. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked, any other comments? <br />ROLL CALL: Ayes: Mr. Buckholtz, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Riter, Mr. Marquardt, <br />Mr. Marrie, Mrs. Mills, and Dr. Parker. <br />Nays: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Mr. Brett said I thought we had agreed to put the Health Care on Second Reading for approval <br />this evening. I circulated the revised dollar amounts to you in a memo, but we would need to <br />revisit that, and approve that which will go into effect tomorrow. I thought it would be carried <br />forward on this agenda and it was not. Everybody has a copy of the revised. <br />Dr. Parker, seconded by Mr. Marrie made a motion to amend the agenda to include Second <br />Reading of Ordinance No. 2003-09. <br />ROLL CALL: Ayes: All <br />Nays: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Agenda Amended
