Regular Council Meeting
4-21-03
Page 16
Council President Buckholtz said we need to get in touch with them (or have Doug get in touch
with them) and have a supervisor monitor the situation. ?
Mrs. Roman said maybe I could see if they could come to a Caucus.
Mr. Riter said that would be a good idea because it's also come up at Citizen's Advisory
Committee about 6 months ago; obviously they're not listening.
Mr. Marrie said they did have an "inspector" in a small pickup checking all the curbs for glass; I
saw that last week.
Mrs. Mills said the wake for Fred Gaertner will be Wednesday from 3-7:30 and a service at 7:30
at DiCicco's. Fred was the owner of Village Shell on the corner.
Mrs. Cinco addressed Mr. Samac and asked, are they redoing that whole area from the pump
statian/filtration unit on Beech Hill and Wilson Mills. They've been working on everything.
Mr. Samac replied they have been doing quite a bit of work. They replaced the filter (which is
the wood chips); that's a maintenance item that they do every 3 years-once they get saturated to
a point they aren't effective any longer. They have done some other landscaping items. Doug
would probably be able to give more of an update.
Several people said the flowers look very nice.
Council President Buckholtz said he would like to thank everyone who came tonight. For the
ones that left, that goes the same; we like to see people come out to our meetings and find out
what's going on.
ADJOURNMENT
Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to adjourn.
Roll Call: AYES: All
NAYS: None Motion Carried
The meeting adjourned at approximately 9:30 p.m.
Respectfully su mi d,
?
WILLIAM BUCKHOLTZ, COUN L ESIDENT
1f ? BRUCE G. RIN R, MAYOR
?
DONNA J. RO N, CLERK OF COUNCIL
