Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, April 17, 2017 <br />Page 19 <br /> <br />Motion to authorize expenditure in the amount of $14,244 to EcoLawn, Inc. for <br />fertilization and weed/insect control o€ Village properties. <br />Mr. Marquardt, seeonded by Mr. Jerome, made a inotion to authorize expenditure in the amount <br />of $14,244 to EcoLawn, Inc. for fertilization and weed/insect control of Village properties. <br />Council President Saponaro asked, discussion? <br />There was none. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Approved <br />Motion to authorize expenditure in the aYnount of $13,245 to Leff Electric Co. for <br />conversion to LED lighting at the Service and Fire Departments. <br /> <br />Mr. Marrie, seconded by Mr. Jerome, made a motion to authorize expenditure in the amount of <br />$13,245 to Leff Electric Co. for conversion to LED lighting at the Service and Fire Deparhnents. <br />Council President Saponaro asked, discussion? <br />There was none. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Approved <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 2017-04, entitled, "An Emergency Ordinance creating <br />Chapter 1505 of the Codified Ordinances mandating automated external defibrillators in <br />certain institutional facilities and amending the title of part fifteen of the codified <br />Ordinances to be known as the "Fire Prevention and Life Safety Code." Introduced by <br />Mayor Bodnar and Council as a Whole. (Fire Department) <br /> <br />Council President Saponaro asked, is this something we would like to continue on through three <br />readings? , <br />Mr. Diemert stated, it has been discussed for quite a long time. I know this is the first reading of <br />the legislation as it has been amended. I know it's been through Ordinance Review. Everyone's <br />looked at it. It's up to Council. The sooner the better that we can get those installed. <br />Council President Saponaro asked, can I entertain a motion to suspend? <br />Dr. Parker stated, I am wondering, considering what the impact is going to be on all of the <br />businesses that potentially will be impacted, perhaps we should leave it on for just one more <br />meeting so people can respond if they need to.
