Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, April 17, 2017 <br />Page 20 <br />Mr. Jerome stated,, I am in agreement. <br />Dr. Parker stated, I am thinking perhaps we should not inove this along because considering the <br />nuinber of businesses it will impact and the effect it might have, we inight want to give thein an <br />opportunity just in case someone wants to speak up or have some other opinion so maybe leave it <br />for at least one more ineeting for this tiine and inaybe next time considering passing. <br />Council President Saponaro stated, very good. We can move it to Second Reading. Any other <br />discussion on this? <br />There was none. <br />Ordinance No. 2017-04 was moved to Second Read. <br />. Resolution loTo. 2017-05, entitled, "A Resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor to <br />file an application with the Ohio Deparhnent of Natural Resources for financial <br />assistance with public recreation areas through the State of Ohio Natureworks Grant <br />Program." Introduced by Mayor Bodnar and Council as a Whole. (Administration) <br />Mr. Marquardt, seconded by Mr. Jerome <br />Council President Saponaro stated, just to clarify, this is for the trailhead project we had talked <br />about at our Caucus meeting. We have been talking about this for probably over a year now. <br />This is an opportunity for us to try and get more funding. Applications are due as of May 1 St <br />The Resolution is required as part of the application process. Any other questions or discussion <br />on this? <br />There was none. <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 2017-21, entitled, "An Emergency Ordinance <br />prohibiting any cultivation, processing, or retail dispensaries within the Village of <br />Mayfield." Introduced by Mayor Bodnar and Council as a Whole. (Administration) <br />Ordinance No. 2017-21 moved to Second Read. <br />. Resolution No. 2017-04, entitled, "An emergency resolution authorizing entering into a <br />Purchasing Participation Agreement with the Ohio Department of Transportation for the <br />purchase of sodium chloride (rock salt) for the 2017-2018 season (018-18)." Introduced <br />by Mayor Bodnar and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Marquardt, seconded by Mr. Jeroine, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2017-04. <br />Council President Saponaro asked, any discussion?
