Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, May 15, 2017 <br />Page 14 <br />• First Izeading of Ordinaaxce l010. 2017-26q entitled, "An Einergency Ordinance <br />authorizing and directing the Mayor and President of Council to enter into An Agreement <br />with the Cuyahoga County Planning Commission for Professional Planning Services." <br />Introduced by Mayor Bodnar and Council as a Whole. (Adininistration) <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Jeroine, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2017-26. <br />Council President Saponaro asked, discussion? This is the survey part of the Plan, <br />Mr. Coyne talked to us about as well. Are there any other questions, concerns, or <br />additional information to add? <br />There were none. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Ordinance Enacted <br />[ANY OTHER MATTEI?S : <br />what <br />any <br />Council President Saponaro welcomed a student from St. Ignatius Governinent class. Other than <br />that, are there any other inatters that may come before Council? <br />Mrs. Mills stated, the tours at the Historical House are finished. At our last tour, we had a <br />special guest with his grandson, Chief Edehnan. I hope he learned a lot. <br />Chief Edelman replied, I did. <br />Mrs. Mills asked, John, when is Smokin' Q's opening? <br />Mr. Marrelli replied, June lst allegedly. <br />Mr. Diemert stated, just to bring Council up ta date, the Dr. Moyal and Georgian lawsuit which <br />was filed in Common Pleas Court, assigned to Judge Barker, has been removed by us. We have <br />determined that the best avenue for getting the Village's defense was in Federal Court. We will <br />be filing a removal to Federal Court tomorrow or the next day. Also, our insurance company has <br />stepped up to protect us on the money damages claims within the lawsuit. Even if we were to <br />lose, we have some insurance coverage there. <br /> <br />E <br />
