Introduced by Mayor Bodnar and Council as a Whole. (Adininistration) Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Jeroine, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Rules Suspended Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2017-26. Council President Saponaro asked, discussion? This is the survey part of the Plan, Mr. Coyne talked to us about as well. Are there any other questions, concerns, or additional information to add? There were none. Other than that, are there any other inatters that may come before Council? Mrs. Mills stated, the tours at the Historical House are finished. At our last tour, we had a special guest with his grandson, Chief Edehnan. I hope he learned a lot. Chief Edelman replied, I did. Mrs. Mills asked, John, when is Smokin' Q's opening? Mr. Marrelli replied, June lst allegedly. Mr. Diemert stated, just to bring Council up ta date, the Dr. Moyal and Georgian lawsuit which was filed in Common Pleas Court, assigned to Judge Barker, has been removed by us. We have determined that the best avenue for getting the Village's defense was in Federal Court. We will be filing a removal to Federal Court tomorrow or the next day. Also, our insurance company has stepped up to protect us on the money damages claims within the lawsuit. Even if we were to lose, we have some insurance coverage there. E
