Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Minutes of June 19, 2017 <br />Approved as Written ` <br />COMMENTS FROM MAYOR BODNAR <br />Mayor Bodnar stated, just a couple of things. First, we wanted to note that we mourn the loss of <br />Patricia Russo. Patty was a member of our Citizen's Advisory Committee and a very respected <br />member of our community. She passed away last Thursday. We are mourning her loss. Also, <br />NOPEC sponsors the Lake County Captains' games. They sent me 24 vouchers good for either <br />Sunday, August 6th for the 7:00 p.m. game or Sunday, August 20th for the 1:30 game. If anyone <br />here in the audience would like any vouchers for eitlier of those two games, let me know and I <br />will get you some tickets. We have our new window treatmerits up in Civic Hall. I think they <br />look very nice. They have done a good job. <br />COMMENTS FROIVi COUNCIL PRESIDENT SAPONARO <br />Commission on Aging member Ruth Petche has announced her retirement from the Committee. <br />If any Council member who lias a suggestion for a replacement or someone you feel could serve <br />on that Committee if you could please let Mrs. Betsa know no later than this Friday, we would <br />appreciate it. <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS: <br />John Marrelli (Building) <br />Architectural Review Board - We met on the 13'?'. We went over alterations to a home. <br />Planning and Zoning - We met on Monday, August 20'' and went over the memory care facility. <br />Tom Cappello (Engineer) - Updating on the Joyce, Hemingway, Wortori Park area watermain <br />project, _the watermain is in. They are presently installing hydrants. This week they are working <br />at night to make the connection on Wilson Mills Road. Also, I received an update from ODOT <br />that they will be working at night also. They will be closing one lane in each direction as <br />needed. They are working under the bridge at this time. <br />Council President Saponaro asked, can you provide any insight as to the Intergenerational Park? <br /> <br />
