Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council
Monday, September 25, 2017
Page 3
With that, I just wanted to read the plaque I have with me. It says: "Cuyahoga County
recognizes the hard work and commitment Mayfield Village .has made to emergency
preparedness for the safety and well-being of its citizens. It is a great honor to the community."
It is signed by Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish and Director of Public Safety
Brandy Carney.
Council President Saponaro stated, very good. Thank you.
Mayor Bodnar asked, Gino, would you like to come up and accept? Thank you very much. We
appreciate this.
Council President Saponaro stated, congratulations to our Village, especially our Chiefs for a job
well done. Thank you, Mr. Christie. We appreciate you coming and bestowing this honor upon
us.
PUBLIC HEARING:
- Proposed Ordinance 2017-31: Affirming the grant of a use variance by the
Board of Appeals for a memory care facility on North Commons Boulevard
(P.P. The larger parcel containing 4.8 acres is west of the one-acre parcel which will
contain a memory care facility to be owned and operated by Artis. The property is located at the
north end.
