I think it <br />makes the most sense after looking at both sides of it to just remove it completely. I guess you <br />can have that discussion over the next couple months to see if that makes sense, but that was my <br />opinion on it. <br />Council President Saponaro stated, we appreciate that. Thank you. Any other comments? <br />There were none. <br />Ordinance No. 2017-41 moved to Second Read. <br />• First Reading of Ordinance No. 2017-42, entitled, "An Ordinance amending Chapter <br />131 of the Mayfield Village Codified Ordinances by repealing, in its entirety, Section <br />131.03 relative to the Activities Committee." Introduced by 1Vlayor Bodnar and Council <br />as a Whole. (Law Director) <br />Council President Saponaro stated, again, this is something we can move to Second Read. Joe, is <br />this something we need to deal with in an expeditious manner or are we fine? <br />Mr. Diemert replied, no. Not at all. <br />Council President Saponaro asked, is there any discussion on this that anyone would like to have <br />at this point? <br />There was none. <br />Ordinance No. 2017-42 moved to Second Read. <br />• First Reading of Ordinance No. 2017-43, entitled, "An Ordinance amending Chapter <br />143 of the Mayfield Village Codified ordinances relative to the Parks and Recreation <br />Board." Introduced by Mayor Bodnar and Council as a Whole. (Law Director) <br />Council President Saponaro stated, again, if there's any discussion on this, I will take it now. <br />Otherwise we will move this to Second Read. <br />Mr. Jerome stated, the one thing I have to say on this subject is part of the new amendment to the <br />Ordinance is a larger number of people being allowed to officially serve on it. I don't know if <br />that matters for January or not. That's the only reason I would see to move it along now. <br />Council President Saponaro stated, again, I am not sure if that has an impact, whether we have <br />this in place now or not. <br />Ms. Wolgamuth replied, I did not think so. I thought we would go ahead and appoint as we <br />normally would, but that is a technicality that I am not sure of.
