ORDINANCE NO. 2018-23 <br />Page 3 of 6 <br />EXHIBIT A- NYARKED T'O SHOW CHANGES <br />955.1 PiJRPOSEo <br />The puipose of this chapter shall be to investigate-and evaluate a?n???zor?miz. <br />requests for surface drainage and infrastructure improvements to help improve ,yard <br />drainage of residential properties within the Village and to provide partial funding for <br />certain qualifying improvements. <br />(Ord. 2000-12. Passed 7-17-00.) <br />955.2 INFRASTRUCTURE IIVIPROVEMENTS. <br />Infrastructure improvements May include but are not limited to area drains and <br />associated piping, driveway culvert pipe, drain tile and other storm and sanitary water <br />piping. <br />(Ord. 2000-12. Passed 7-17-00.) <br />955.3 DRAINAGE IMPI20VElVIENTS. <br />Drainage improvements may include but are not limited to swales to control the <br />flow of surface water,-?jhe removal of earth,-and other natural physical obstructions to <br />the flow of surface water; the installation of piping to control water flow; the redefining <br />of existing swales and waterways; the control of erosion along existing ditches and <br />streams; the maintenance of existing swales and area basins. <br />(Ord. 2000-12. Passed 7-17-00.) <br />955.4 DRAI1\TAGE AND INFRASTRUCTURE COMMITTEE. <br />The Drainage and Infrastructure Committee shall consist of the Service Director, <br />Building Commissioner, Village Engineer, two (2) Village residents appointed by the <br />Mayor, and three (3) at large Council members. Only the two Village residents and <br />three Council members shall be voting members on this Committee. <br />(Ord. 2000-12. Passed 7-17-00.) <br />955.5 PROJECT EVALUA'I'IONS AND PRIORITY. <br />Evaluation and priority of projects shall be made by the Drainage and Infrastructure <br />Committee according to the following criteria: <br />(a) Total estimated cost of project : <br />(b) The number of contiguous properties effected and the extent to wluch <br />tlle effects of the project Ueneftt-e--the residents and Viilage as aNvhole, as opposed <br />to a siii le propertv owner.-i <br />(c) The percentage of the property affected by standiny water, and t11e lenj?th <br />of time standing water or saturated ground remains on tlle property after a rain <br />event;?'.,,?,,,,,.??,;ri?
