Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council
Monday, December 17, 2018
Page 5

I I
Resolution No. 2018-45, entitled, "A Resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor and
President of Council to enter into a Development Agreement with. 345 Miner Road LLC."
Introduced by Mayor Bodnar. (Law Department)
Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2018-45.
Council President Saponaro asked, discussion?
There was none.
ROLL CALL: AYES: All
NAYS: None
Motion Carried
Resolution Adopted
•' Third Reading of Ordinance No. 2018-28, entitled, "An Ordinance appropriating funds
for current expenses and expenditures of Mayfield. Village, Ohio for the period froin
January 1, 2018 and ending December 31, 2018 and declaring an emergency." Introduced
by Mayor Bodnar. (First Reading - October 15, 2018; Second Reading - November 19,
2018) (Finance Department)
Mr. Marquardt, seconded by Mr. Williams, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2018-28.
Council President Saponaro asked, discussion?
Mr. Wynne stated, a week ago, I provided. Council with a detailed. copy of the budget line items
and highlighted the changes during the year as a result of actions that were taken. There have
been two changes to that budget since the copy I gave you. One was we had included in there an
additional $141,000 to Workers' Compensation because.they had said they wanted for us to pay
it by December 28?' for the year 2019 in order to take advantage of the 2% discount. Enough
people like myself called to complain about that and they changed the payment date to Januaty
2"a so I pulled that $141,000 back out of the budget because it's not needed in 2018. I also
increased the transfer from the General Fund to the Street Construction Maintenance and Repair
Fund by $500,000 to put towards next year's 2019 road projects. Those are the only two
changes made to that budget since the copy you received a week and a half ago.
Council President Saponaro asked, are there any questions regarding this?
There were none.
ROLL CALL: AYES: All
NAYS: None
Motion Carried
Ordinance Enacted
