MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL Mayfield Village Civic Hall - Mayfield Village Civic Center Monday, January 29, 2018 - 7:00 p.m. The Council of Mayfield Village met in Regular Session on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Mayfield Village Civic Hall. Council President Saponaro called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Marquardt, Mr. Meyers, Mrs. Mills, Dr. Parker Mr. Saponaro, NIr. Schutt and Mr. Williams Also Present: Mayor Bodnar, Mr. Wynne, Mr. Coyne, Mr. Cappello, Chief Carcioppolo, Mr. Marrelli, Mr. Metzung, Chief Edelman, Ms. Wolgamuth and Mrs. Betsa Absent: Mr. McAvinew The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. OPEN"PORTION::._;. - For Public Comment (5-minute limit imposed by Chair) Council President Saponaro stated, we have a presentation under the Open Portion. Chris Skoda from Skoda Construction would like to say a few words. Chris Skoda Skoda Construction Good evening. My name is Chris Skoda. I am a builder and developer. We are attempting to build a cluster home subdivision on Highland Road to the right of the Baptist Church west of it on vacant land, almost 7 acres. I passed out a layout to everyone prior to the meeting to take a look at. I thought I would come tonight for Open Portion and introduce myself and see if anyone had any questions about it. I would certainly be willing to come back at another date when there is more time to discuss it a little further. . What we .are trying to do in this planning and development is provide an alternative housing. When we go around and talk to people and get signatures from them, they are thrilled there is going to be something like this so they can stay in the Village, sell their big houses and move into something a little more compatible for their lifestyle. It's been well received at least for the people we talked to and the residents we have gotten signatures from.
