Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, January 29, 2018 <br />Page 20 <br />an hour. It was a one-year agreement renewable annually by written notice from the Village to <br />Mr. Carbone of our desire to continue to use his services. We spent $31,355 in 2016 and <br />$30,285 in 2017. It's actually cheaper to use someone under contract in that department than to <br />have a part-time employee in that department. <br />Council President Saponaro stated, okay. And OPERS is Ohio Public Employees' Retirement <br />System. Any comments or questions? <br />There were none. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Approved <br />Motion to authorize expenditure in the amount of $7,123.48 to Creative <br />Microsystems, Inc. for 2018 suppoB-t for Finance and Payroll Systems. (Finance <br />Department) <br />Mrs. 1Vlills, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to authorize expenditure in the amount <br />of $7,123.48 to Creative Microsystems, Inc. for 2018 support for Finance and Payroll Systems. <br />(Finance Department) <br />Council President Saponaro asked, discussion? <br />Mr. Wynne stated CMI, or Creative Microsystems, Inc. does our updates for our financial and <br />payroll software systems as well as provide us with customer service support. Last year we <br />spent $6,916.
