Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, January 29, 2018 <br />Page 29 <br />• First Reading of Resolution No. 2018-06, entitled, "An emergency resolution declaring <br />it necessary to improve Robley Lane, Thornapple Drive and Wilson Mills Road between <br />certain termini by constructing sanitary sewers, sanitary sewer service connections and <br />manholes, installing, where necessary, force mains and storm sewers, and replacing, <br />where necessary, pavement and driveway aprons, all together with the necessary <br />appurtenances thereto." Introduced by Mayor Bodnar and Council as a Whole. (Law <br />Department). <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Williams, made a motion to suspend the "rules of Council <br />requiring a Resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to enact Resolution No. 2018-06. <br />Council President Saponaro asked, discussion? <br />Mr. Wynne stated, Council previously authorized at the end of the year last year to prepare <br />plans for this project. Those plans have been completed. The job has been estimated and <br />the plans were filed with the Clerk of Council a couple of weeks ago. By passing this <br />resolution, Council is saying that we feel this project is necessary for the health and well- <br />being of the community. We will notify the residents impacted by the project by certified <br />mail tomorrow of the project and an estimate of what the assessment will be. They will <br />then have a two-week timeframe to respond to the letter before we go out to bid on the <br />proj ect. <br />Council President Saponaro stated, thank you. Any other questions or comments regarding <br />this? <br />There was none. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />• First Reading of Resolution No. 2018-07, entitled, "A resolution requesting the <br />Cuyahoga County Fiscal Officer to adjust the amended official certificate of estimated <br />resources for 2018." Introduced by Mayor Bodnar and Council as a Whole. (Finance <br />Department). <br />Resolution No. 2018-07 moved to Second Read.
