Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, March 19, 2018 <br />Page 9 <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS: <br />John Marrelli (Building) <br />. Architectural Review Board - We met on March 8th and approved the construction of a new <br />single-family home on the corner of Glenview and SOM that we hope to see starting shortly. <br />. Planning and Zoning - We approved the Beecher's Brook Streambank Riparian Setback <br />construction. Mary Betsa (Council) - Debbie Garbo and I will be attending the Local Government Officials <br />Conference later this week. I will provide a report to all of Council following same. There is <br />still some room availability for the Ethics Session on Apri1237d in Reserve Ha11. . Records Commission - A meeting will be scheduled in April. <br /> <br />Ron Wynne (Finance) - The audit for 2017 is pretty much wrapped up. I should have final <br />cominents on the report some time the end of this week. Once that is completed, I will be sure <br />that Council gets a copy of the report and it will be posted on the website. Next Tuesday the 27t' <br />at 7:00 we have a meeting with the residents of Robley; Thornapple and Wilson Mills who are <br />impacted by the sewer conversion project to go over the details of that project with them. <br />Anthony Coyne (Law Department) - I can discuss House Bill 512 wfien it comes up.on the <br />Council agenda or now: <br />Council President Saponaro stated, Council agenda is fine, thank you. <br />Shane McAvinew <br />. Senior Services - Donna will be giving a presentation at Wednesday's Parks and Recreation <br />Board meeting on Senior Activities for 2018. . Commission on Aging - We have a meeting this Thursday at the Community Room at 11:00 <br />a.m. <br />. Parks and Recreation - We have a meeting this Wednesday. Committees will meet at 6:30 <br />and then the actual meeting will be at 7:00. The meeting will be held at the Community <br />Room. We also have our Easter party coming up this Saturday. We will also be having sign- <br />ups for the Anriual Pancake Breakfast. We are in need of volunteers. If anyone would like to <br />volunteer, whether Council or from the floor, we have plenty of spots available and would <br />appreciate as much help as possible. <br />Council President Saponaro asked, what date is that? <br />Mr. McAvinew replied, Sunday, May 13th from 8:30-1:00. The sign-up sheet is going around <br />this evening. <br />Also, the Parks and Recreation brochure has been mailed. If anyone needs a copy, I have a <br />handful of them left.
