Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, April 16, 2018 <br />Page 7 <br />: Parks and Recreation - I put on your desk and in your packet the. entertainment gu'ide that <br />focuses on all of the entertaiiunent going on in Mayfield Village up through August - the <br />concert schedule at The Grove, Cruise Night, Mother's Day Pancake Breakfast. This will be <br />maileci out to the entire school district. Approximately $4,500 was covered through <br />sponsorships from local businesses that are in the program. We have had a lot of businesses <br />and civic groups sponsoring advertisement in the brochure. Committee meetings are <br />scheduled for this Wednesday at 6:30. Parks and Recreation Board will meet on Wednesday <br />at 7:00 p:m. <br />Council President Pro Tem Williams stated, very. classy <br />Mr. McAvinew stated, thank you. I think it turned out very well. <br />1VIrs. Mills asked, are we going forward with Arbor. Day? <br />Mr. McAvinew replied, we are going forward this Friday. <br />Mrs. Mills stated, okay good. Jean Britton will be calling me tomorrow afternoon. <br />Mr. McAvinew stated, I have the sound equipment taken care of. <br />Chief Edelman (Police Department) - I have just one quick adjustment fo the agenda. Back at <br />tlie Council meeting two weeks ago, one of the agenda items I discussed was security cameras in <br />the turuiels. Councilman Parker asked if I would look into alternate technology and costs for the <br />connection thereof. The vendors who are dealing with that technology have not had time to get <br />back to. me with the cost: I asked 1VIrs. Betsa to. temporarily take that off the agenda. I plan on <br />having that information for you by next month's Caucus and we can revisit it at that time and <br />discuss it again. <br />Doug Metzung (Service Department) - It's still Winter. <br />Committee IteAOrts: <br />Citizen's Advisory - Mrs. 1Vlills - At our last meeting Chris Skoda was there in regards to the <br />rezoning of the piece of property on Highland Road. Christina. Znidarsic was there froin the <br />Chagrin River. Partners and gave a very good presentation. Our next meeting is Apri130th at 7:00 <br />p.m. in Civic Hall: <br />- Ad Hoc Committees: <br />In Committee Status Reports <br />Mr. Schutt stated, I have one for Parks and Recreation. We inet on March 2lst, the Art and <br />Music Group. There will be a concrete ping-pong table and one set of concrete cornhole boards <br />that will Ue installed this Spring wheiiever it gets IZere. The exact location is to be determined. It <br />will be near Parkview Pool. Also, by the pool where the concession area is, we have the tables
